Yeah bro. Achilles rupture.
About four months ago. Physio going well but it’ll be a while till it’s all good again.
Had a roll on my new LDPump deck tonight which was cool, but hard on the injured calf.

Welcome, fellow X1 Pro owner!
Loving it so far, I’m looking forward to giving it a proper range test over the weekend. I’m on the wrong side of 100kgs so not sure quite what to expect.
Same here. It’ll move you just fine. The Riot kit is worth it if you want a little extra of everything.
I’ve already brought a few things already I brought the fast charger, front and back shred lights and some harder bushings for the front and back trucks.
I see the riot kit is on sale to but if the other half sees them arrive too I maybe in big trouble
Crucial. I bring it to the kart track for top up between sessions.
I run stock pretty loose, and the thing is still stable and tracks like a champ.
We all share that common issue. If you can make it work, you’ll be pretty happy. Just buy extra belts because it does go through them.
I’m sure I’ll get one soon once I’m comfortable on the hub motors. Do you know if there is any way of upgrading battery to get longer range?
The short answer is no.
The long answer is, if you are happy to butcher your deck, learn how to build a battery (or alternatively buy a custom made battery), learn how to fibreglass to reshape and repair your butchered deck, then yes it is possible. The question then becomes, is it worth it?
It is what it is. As stated above, the odds of successfully upgrading the battery without destroying the integrity of the board are very low.
Fair enough, I suppose that’s why people have more than one board.
I like the idea of building my own and being able to customize to how I would want it .
You’re honestly in a good spot. You’ve got something that works and wasn’t crazy expensive. Now you can ride it and decide what you do and don’t like while you gather parts. There will be roadblocks as you build, so it will be extra nice to have one that works while you’re frustrated with the other.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
So much this.
Thanks for the advice appreciated.
I’m really enjoying the board so far, I can’t believe how addictive it is to ride.
Have you done all the app upgrades on it?
I understand, probably watched a few to many videos on folks building and modding boards.
I design industrial switchboards and control panel for work, so I understand the principal’s behind it but not much experience with types of battery BMS and ESC’s.
Oh, then duck to water for you. You’re in the right place then, as we’re blessed to have a ton of guys building at a high level, and FreeSK8 will be adding some great BMS and ESC options soon.
I did was the first thing I did but the odometer hasn’t worked since I set it up. I contacted exway and they sent me a file to download and update it from local files to see if it fixes it, but Im moving to an iphone so not done it yet.
I did the exact same thing! It wasn’t until I came over to freesk8 that everyone regretted letting me join. I’m not at quite a year I think my anni is in April.
