That uart is not functional as far as I know. There was a problem with the stormcore that they are working to resolve.
I’m not sure what might have gone wrong but you might have success removing the Robogotchi bluetooth device from your phone’s settings and holding Robogotchi B1 for 5 seconds to reset the secure connections.
After that we would expect the pairing request to come through so you can enter the pin.
Thanks that worked but the uarts are not working on my stormcore d100 both my davega and robogotchi are not receiving data. Maybe they share the same data lines like the 60D I will disconnect tomorrow, swap and try one at a time maybe throw in my usplit. The freesk8 app does work via the built in ble.
I think its a issue with the stormcore using 2 uarts, I have tested both with my makerx dv6 and they work perfectly I have emailed lacroix I am not the only person have issue with stormcore uarts. I really really dont want to loose my robogotchi or davega and I cant swap my ESC as its a 16S battery.
There’s only one functional uart on the stormcore. The second uart wasn’t fully populated or something like that. There is a third one that is internal and used for the onboard ble.
True but not by design, there are 3 uarts in the stormcore D’s it appears that you can only use 1 of the externals at a time due to a design flaw. I would be happy to lose the internal ble. In hindsight I should have tested my setup before epoxying the robogotchi to the enclosure.
Yeah the other external Uart on the Stormcore isn’t actually physically connected to the correct pins, iirc, so won’t be available until the next hardware revision. That threw a wrench in a few folks plans.
Freesk8 app connects to robogotchi. gives firmware update notice. (0.42 -> 0.7.0)
click ok.
then it hangs on “establishing connection” my only choice is to cancel.
can’t go into dfu mode via freesk8 app because i’m not “connected”. so can’t update fw.
