@ricco I will try the new fw tonight. The issue wasnāt present in previous version. I did update my davegax fw the same time as the app so may be this I will try it without the davegax and without usplit just to rule it out. Wish I had a functional second UART. I also installed a metr Can around the same time but this is hanging off the canbus. I now have 2 GPS antennas onto of my board. Thanks @skate420 I will update you with my results.

Nice work Just realized Iāve been riding a couple times getting logs in and I forgot to put the GPS module in. So here it is all set up in the board im testing it on. Iāve synced a few logs but am not sure how to view/upload them. Anyone able to point me into the right direction?
Also,when looking at the map yesterday while riding, the map seems to track my route weirdly, like the points are areas where I unlocked my phone to view data.

@Linny did you get the logs after the gps was installed? Did you hear the gps acquired tone?
Beyond the in-app viewer, there is a desktop viewer in development. The WIP is located at upload,freesk8.dev

The first 12 logs, no. The 13th log had the GPS in it. Iām trying to take a look at log #13. Thanks! Iāll take a look.

This behavior is consistent with it only grabbing your phone GPS sporadically (likely when you checked it). If you have the integrated GPS installed it should update around 1hz on the coordinate mapping.
Click on the Skating Robot on the logging screen to toggle between list & calendar mode; that should show you all logs available.

You are exactly right on this. The map on this particular view is only showing data from the phone and FreeSK8 isnāt receiving position information when the phone is locked. I left the map here to show where you started and where you were but didnāt think about how misleading it would look if the phone was checked multiple times. There are multiple ways I can make this better so thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I think the vesc tool app had the same issue in the beginning on Android phones.
Temporary solution was to install an app which still send the gps data even after the screen was locked.

Like a boss ā¦ Try paying for something random as fuck with a sheet of robogotchis. Or at a self checkout, start complaining that there machine wont take robogotchi as payment. Which is bullshit. Value is value.
