I guarantee you that pricing is for something much smaller when you get into it with them, you’ll find that even for 100 units for a dual-esc you will not break under $15-$20 per unit with some tough haggling and threat to go to a competitor.
Even the Zesc which is small single …ok a complicated CNC small single housing is advertised as $30 extra.
Take into account some padding going onto that figure and bet the quote is at least $15 per unit for 100 dual-esc units, especially to a Western-based company.
The other thing is who still wants focboxes? All decent ESCs coming out nw seem to have their metal shell out-of-the-box.
@Stanley
I know you’re a blacksmith we love cool shit on here
I would love to see a thread of your stuff or Whatever floats your boat we love I candy/ picture porn and all that cool stuff
@Nacho hahaha, i just didn’t think i have enough stuff for my board to do a thread. I have the charger, remote, deck, enclosure and wheels. And some skinning supplies. Should i post a thread on esk8 news forum or here?
I think i’m gonna go with the easy route instead of epoxy and glass frit. How is this splattergoat griptape holding up?
It seems like they use a good quality griptape. (?)
Good frit is a science too little epoxy and frit flakes off, too much epoxy and you lose grip. I took punisher out and was hit with a sudden thunderstorm confident it the water tightness of my enclosure and remote I skated on but after having to brake on a hill my TB110s did their job but my grip on deck not so much. My fat ass met road in a less than graceful way. So sanding back punisher and redoing the design and frit is high on my list.
