You guys want to start a gang? @BillGordon all this trigger talk I’m having flashbacks
Thank god! I thought I was the only one.
How would you direct a somewhat noob to 3d printing do this fine sir…? I snapped the buttons and also lost the trim (already filled that whole with some miliput since its useless anyway) on one of my PPB mods two nights ago and the remaining 3 wont, work well not being attached to each other anymore… my printer has been running non-stop since I got it 3+ months ago, but nill/zero experience with CAD and what not just yet. Just want to get my fun kicktail build rollin again but need buttons to do so… help @Andrew!!! TIA. LMK if you need some pics for any reason…
BTW the sleeve that @Redeye made is legit af. I have large hands too and I printed it in a flexible TPU and have not taken it off of either of my PPB mods since putting it on cause I love it so much. It is kind of necessary to use one of the bigger nub wheels if you add a sleeve though FYI. Makes the PPB that much better. IMO at least…

Great feedback! I agree that the sleeve is really nice for some folks- I’ve been intending to get around to trying my hand at my own sleeve design but have been overstretched.
On your first question- are you using any CAD programs? The files are in STEP format so that they retain all their proper solid-model features, STL is usually an export from STEP and can generally be generated from your CAD program using Save Copy As or Export functions. If you’re still having trouble let me know and I can get them exported for you.
Seriously love this set up! Just thought everyone should know that. Happy holidays fellas (and lady).
Heyoooo
I did a thing I said I’d do. Here’s the first shot at a Lefty version of Puck Puck Bruce:
FreeSK8/Puck-Puck-Bruce/blob/main/3D-Models/PuckPuckBruce-rev7-bottom-Lefty.stl
I’m printing up the first test-prints now, knock on wood.
magnetic port?
Yolo i’m just gonna print it too
In pursuit of the optimal finger hole, I made a PPB sleeve with a middle finger ring. So far, feels comfortable.
Could you please place the lizardcock in it for reference? Thanks
Could you lay it on its side please. Haha
Holidays backed up my service manufacturer but batch 5 shipment date was just confirmed yesterday, landing us at a 1/29/2021 eta for the next big shipment of grey/black & black/black PPB shells.
Also have final samples of these arriving the next week or so and I’ll get a larger order of Lefty PPBs available as I’ve had a good number of requests for these.
Some pictures of a case failure to help with I would presume future redesign.
@Andrew seems like this material doesn’t really bend at all and just snaps, feel like ABS would have held up better at the cost of surface finish and such.

At the cost of not being an option at all using Nylon SLS manufacturing. ABS is limited to FDM or injection molding.
I would expect the remote to have a chance to break if it gets slammed into asphalt, and I’m not sure it being ABS would help all that much; it could still be broken from impacts/crashes like this.
I am not sure that the expectation of the shell to survive hard crashes is realistic without a much more expensive/heavier material; and at that point you’re just building a coffin around your internals which will be the weak point.
can you post pics of the broken hoyt pucks? would like to compare how it breaks
A friend of a friend had a 3d printer and offered to print something for me, I gave him the file and this is what he printed!
