Apart from work stuff the computers are used for gaming.
I mostly play CSGO (and suck at it) with some of the guys in here , Battlefield, The Witcher 3 etc
Thanks.
Nothing sad about a Ryzen 3600/16GB/480 SSD build.
I went seriously overboard with that rig.
I never had a top of the line PC and I am not getting any younger so I figured I would tick one of the boxes in my list and spend my evenings stroking myself looking at the meaningless 99% 3dmark score
Your build is a much more sensible one.
I dont really know whats inside of this thing apart from a
GTX 970
i5-6400
16GB RAM
H110-1 Plus D3
My laptop shit the bed one night and the next morning I had a guy from Facebook marketplace drive 30mins to drop this off. It works and I am mostly happy with it.
Just get a normal mouse like a Glorious or a Logitech G Pro.
Costs the same and doesn’t look like a spaceship.
Wireless would be even better but is more expensive
I’ve been a console gamer for ever, my closet is filled with old consoles that just collect dust. I didn’t want to get into the whole craze of trying to get a next gen console.
So I decided to go with a pc…then got immediately pulled into the whole craze of getting an RTX card.
I got pretty lucky though and I was able to order a full kit on Black Friday that I’ve been in touch with the guy and he’s throwing in an upgraded AIO from cooler master for free.
If you guys need computer parts, check this dude out. https://og10k.com/
He sells all the next gen stuff at msrp or as close as possible. He live streams when he builds and ships and calls you when it’s your turn and allows you to pick what GPU you want out of what he has.
I am sure it does if you don’t set everything on ultra.
I get a little over 80 fps on 3440x1440 with RT on and everything on ultra with DLSS on auto.
Honestly it is a lot better than I expected
