Another busy day at the shredquarters
Firstly, I finished these two pain in the arse 12S1P packs for a local guy, it’s the same effort to build a 1P as it is a 5P, so effectively that’s building two batteries. They are done now, but I’m not keen on making the next 2 he wants 
. You cant see from the pictures but they have a weird bend in them, achieved that with some clever 3d printing inside the packs.
Then I carried on with my 16S3P battery build, this is for me (shock horror!) And will be going on a board I half built at the start of the year. Spec is Haero Bro, Matrix 2, Etoxx gears 5:1, APS 170kv motors, Etoxx wheels, spintend ESC, robogotchi, GPS module and OSRR (hoepfully, have to work out some stuff to get all of that in the enclosure). The battery will be completely modular so that I can go to 12S for further testing of the ESC. It’s been built as 2 x 6S3P and 1x 4S3P. This also allows it to fit neatly in the case with a BMS.
This is the enclosure it’s going in and I am going to be trying a novel mounting solution
Received some cells in the post with our name on them, noice.
Started putting them together in a 12S5P arrangement for this 4WD evolve I’m building, looks ok. Going to need to put thr BMS on top of one of the unities in the heat sink are of the lid.
So yeah many cups of tea were consumed and had a good chat with @ducktaperules and @moon whilst I was doing it to help pass the time.
Oh and of course I’m filming videos whilst I go, as you do.

@Kilow in short no, well maybe if it wasn’t in its case but then it’s gonna be dangerous. What I’m proposing is after we’ve tested and qualified it we will put our pet CAD wizard @ducktaperules onto it and he will make a gnarly enclosure for it

So I got a bit of progress on the Gen 1 4WD thing, couple of JPo’s in there with a 12S5P. BMS will live ontop of the rear JPo.
I need to machine some adaptors for the superstars and a bit of electronics stuff to do but Its nearly there.
Flipsky were kind enough to send their new welder over for evaluation, I like it - it’s chonky.
We’ve spent a fair bit of time riding tbh, ive been particularly enjoying pushing myself to level up the eMTB stuff
I can count on one hand how many times I have ridden with @bigben, so was nice to get a session in with him recently - here he is being tall at a pump track
The 16S mountainboard progresses, but at a slow pace because of customers stuff. The battery is done now at least!
