it was an idea to put a vape and a puck together… looked very weird using it…
plan B

i can’t stop laughing.
i honesty I just did that to check out the maths…
this freeked me out and I didn’t wanna appear dumb and ask if it was modeled at 91% or should be printed at 91% or at 1/91 scale…
@Andrew so is the final plan to just order batches from shapeways and sell the shells? Or are we free to try and print it out ourselves?
Has anyone successfully printed the Rev 5 with puck internals yet? I’m a few hours out and then I need to get some 2.5mm screws
Me about to start a PPB print: “Let me check to make sure there isnt a new version”
Me: “Guess ill wait lol”
Either or, I’ve been publishing all these files OS so everyone is free to do what they like with them.
I’m using Shapeways for quick turnaround test prints but I plan on doing a run of these using another HP Multijet Nylon print service that’s more affordable than Shapeways.
We will likely have the shells + entire Puck, Puck, Bruce remote/receiver combos in the store soon.
I have. Latest rev5 fits like a glove.
However tomorrow I’ll drop a rev6 that has the bolts moved to the bottom side. If you don’t care about that, rev5 should work.
I’ll be raising my patreon subscription so that it can pay for a monthly six pack for you and your team.
Thanks again
I really appreciate seeing the revision process so thanks for that. This will definitely come in handy
(Glances at my only remote, a mini…)
If the Hoyt puck was $20 I’d already have one! Who needs a new remote when the OSRR will be out
Not 20$ but 49$
If nothing changes OSRR will still work over UART while the puck is working over ppm/pwm. That can be a reason for some to prefer the puck over the OSRR.
If only I wasn’t a trigger man in a thumb wheel world
Look up the Avio mini mod on the other forum (I have both sizes and they make the mini way better), and don’t be so sure there won’t be a trigger OSRR down the road.
I was as well for years till my gt2b fucked me up. Took me one ride to get used to thumb wheel.
@Andrew the buttons are a bit more recessed than on the puck. perhaps on purpose. are you abel to work the rocker switch in your test print?
still muckign with some fitment issues on mine
I am, but I can open those tolerances up a bit if it’s too tight for others.
Also, I have bad news: the trim rocker does not a thing.
This. Nothing beats a solid connection.
yeah I mostly knew that. Though I read there’s some kinda settings config it gets used for?
buttons are tight on mine.
I think i have a fairly accurate printer calibration. however I have low confidence as I’ve not really challenged that assertion much. 20mm cubes are accurate.
I’ll open the buttons up by 0.1mm or so and see if that helps, I’m wrapping up rev6 right now.
