RAWshop - Ross’ Alliteration Workshop

Baking paper. Hahah. I have made a pattern.
And a vivid (permanent marker)
Just pressed into mould and marked it out.

If it works I can repeat it.
If not, I can adjust and try again

Yeah. Dry layup is good. No time pressure. But the downside: no time pressure. This took at least two hours :man_facepalming:

Have to finish tonight, after kids asleep. Back on duty now after mid day nap. :joy:

I try and have other resin jobs lined up when I’m afraid I might have a bit left over.

How many layers of glass?

A bit of a mix. Most areas 2/200gsm cloth and 2/400gsm biaxial mat. Patches in corners and stuff where hard to get a clean layup. Pretty thin maybe. Small segments are pretty strong because of the shape.

Cured overnight. Bag came off easily and it looks ok from the back of the part. Don’t have time to de mould till after work tonight though.
