Excellent suggestion. Work pays for that, and i have fucking heaps of it
That’s why I recommend it.
Yessss. I had just enough.
Once this has cured i’ll give it all a little bit of a trim, especially my ‘keys’ and this will be good to make a jacket for
What will you make the jacket out of?
Flannel? Denim?? Corduroy???
Full metal
Looks good Al. If you cut an a 45 degree angle around the edge while you trim, that will also help “lock” your rubber into your jacket.
Finally got a minute to try get this jacket done…
Gelcoat is not gonna work on the silicone but thats ok, I really only need it on the flanges anyway. I’ll let this kick and then try a thicker coat, but if i can’t get a good layer i’ll just start laying up i reckon
Just gonna send it. It’ll be messy and have bubbles and not be a perfect fit, but as long as the flanges arenice it’ll be fiiiiiine
Welcome to the wild world of mold making.
How’s this turn out bro?
When’s the first part being made
Getting smashed with work/family/skateboard commitments and have this on the backburner until i can get a good day at it
Been busy tho in the few spare minutes I get!
I have seen. Many projects!
Damn batteries looking crisp bro
Is that another micropeen I see?
Good idea on the bags for the motors. I haven’t picked up that tip before now.
Yep but this one is more of a micro chode
You’re welcome
Such a good looking combo…
That is such a premier pairing.
Where’s the flux enclosure pics?!
