Yessss. I had just enough.

Once this has cured i’ll give it all a little bit of a trim, especially my ‘keys’ and this will be good to make a jacket for

What will you make the jacket out of?

Flannel? Denim?? Corduroy???

Full metal

Looks good Al. If you cut an a 45 degree angle around the edge while you trim, that will also help “lock” your rubber into your jacket.

Finally got a minute to try get this jacket done…

Gelcoat is not gonna work on the silicone  but thats ok, I really only need it on the flanges anyway. I’ll let this kick and then try a thicker coat, but if i can’t get a good layer i’ll just start laying up i reckon

Just gonna send it. It’ll be messy and have bubbles and not be a perfect fit, but as long as the flanges arenice it’ll be fiiiiiine
