This is amazing work. Chuck the cells in there to show what she’s capable of?
Designed for 18650- but changed tact to 21700.
I’m planning a 12s6p but that’s allowing pace for two escs. and with a unplanned cell layout.
Some images with 21700s.
Other direction cells don’t fit hard down because designed for 65mm length.
Still fits and could do 2/7p groups in each segment. (Double stack)
Segments are about 38mm ish deep?
(Plus Hummie cutout depth of about 12mm but that’s only 145mm wide)
Don’t have any 18650s so can’t show that layout.
Could be a great alternative for people who want something decent for the TB decks? The extra width would be ideal for those.
Please name your build this.
Night train was the model of my favorite bike I’ve ever owned and ridden…I kinda want to do a build in dedication to that amazing motorcycle.
The enclosure looks amazing, what type of tubing are you gonna have to use for next round?
done
Have a 26” dirt jump mtb with same name myself. Neglected and unused for a while now but it rules.
‘ready to crash and burn, I’ll never learn’
Tubing just needs to be more rigid. I have some now - it’s more plastic whereas the stuff I used was softer.
My mom used to say she was catching a night train when we’d go to bed, we didn’t even have a train station in our town. Weird.
I’m just here for the GnR references. Was an obsessed 8yo when Appetite came out.
I was 6 , and it was the first cassette tape I ever had. Off to see them in about a year when they’re in NZ
I fell asleep at one of their concerts
I went to see them on appetite for destruction tour at the Omni in Atlanta. It was a reward for straight A’s for the year. I got to pick a big prize at the end of the year if all A’s. I don’t know what happened but I know we left not long after arriving. My parents are not the take your kid to a concert type much less GnR. I’m sure they were stressed.
I can’t stand them and I totally missed the fact that there were any GnR references in this thread.
This build is going to be tasty. Might have to copy you.
Are you drunk sir? Even your typing is slurring…
Not for 10+ years.
maybe we can be opposites?
Good work Bill
You see that @glyphics there’s still hope. Good work sir Billingham of soberscotia This calls for a drink, of milk.
Oh, I’m not sober. Alcohol is super expensive here.
