For a project to muck around with and do with my 5yo boy, who can’t skate yet but is really inti Star Wars 
Think it will end up with the red one the top and the blue one on the base of the deck.
Turned out ok, for google search images. Keen to try some higher res prints just to see how they turn out (out of interest more than anything really) This is on heavy satin fabric.

MR60 extensions made 
Still not great at soldering them neatly but practice makes perfect. Bigger soldering iron was a help. Moar Powah…no pics cos they aren’t exciting
I kinda want to set in a voltage meter into my enclosure… I’m not convinced it’s a great idea, cos there’s some new fancy remotes on the horizon which might render it useless - but I do like simple…and bought a bunch of these for science 
test run (hot glued on the back - for speed - and a coat of epoxy over the exterior)

I like voltage meters. And your enclosure is clear… you wouldn’t even need to cut it in!
I made a clear enclosure for @b264 and he stuck the voltmeter to the inside of the enclosure, it seemed to work quite well!

That’s a test enclosure. The real one is black. So will need a hole. Brian has suggested some other options to look at a tho. Research needed

Welder upgraded by a mate, new big cables for direct output and new probes. Didn’t really handle 0.2 nickel well on my test welds beforehand, apparently that’s sorted now…
Yep, I know I should have just bought a kweld initially instead of a sunnko, but hey Noobs don’t know that

Winter slumber is ending. The workshop is warming up a bit😃 been snowboarding a bit which has been cool (mandatory face coverings and all 🥷)
4wd Hummie street build
Battery half done, need to finish up enclosure and deck first. Needs CF skin on deck for stiffness then bedliner the enclosure (maybe deck underside?) then epoxy heatsink in place then battery and guts. Maybe veneer the top of the deck? Gear drives and shit still pretty much untouched in box motivation has been lowww😂

Enclosure buck done (now plus a soldering iron hole which I need to fix 
) need to make mould and then enclosure, and everything else. Concave in footpockets is super deep and I’m thinking to fill and form a ridge in the centre of deck for more w concave to mellow it out a bit. Ordered more carbon so I can maybe make a couple more decks after I get some time riding on this - and decide if (with some mods) it is actually decent (at this rate prolly 2022)
Star Wars deck for Henry has had progress! skinned underside on the weekend and painted rails. Fine frit is in the post and will do top and two pack clear coat to finish. The 200gsm satin fabric I used seems decent 
The little man still isn’t really interested in actually trying to skate, but seems pumped on the project
